Lime, Kaffir

The Kaffir Lime is especially known for its usefulness in Southeast Asian cooking. The hourglass-shaped leaves are used for their distinct scent. An obvious distinction between Western limes are the Kaffir’s bumpy rind. The plant is renowned for its medicinal qualities as well.
