Peperomia prostrata

    String of Turtles is a trailing succulent and its unique leaf shape is what gives the plant its common name. Each leaf looks like a miniature turtle shell which are strung together. Every tiny leaf on its vine has detailed multi-colored patterns covering it. The colors eventually change and become bicolored by maturity, a darker green contrasted by light green. It never loses its beautiful appeal though. Its uniqueness makes it a valuable houseplant and it prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil.
