Tiger Grass is a fast-growing, clumping grass that resembles bamboo and provides a tropical look to your landscape. Its dense growth habit makes it perfect for privacy, but it can also be used as a focal, specimen plant in your garden. It grows at least 6 to 8 feet tall and wide, but can reach 10 feet in each direction. The golden, brush-like flower clusters bloom in the summer and mature into a light brown color. It prefers consistent moisture, but can tolerate some drought once it's established.
