The Monrovia T Rex™ First Blush Rex Begonia has stunning foliage with a pink center that gets more pronounced as the season passes. It is surrounded by a silver colored leaf with thin, dark edges. Pink flowers bloom in the summer. They love full shade and humidity. However, the leaves and stems do not want to be wet for long periods of time. Avoid over-watering; water once the soil has dried out. This is an excellent houseplant that does great in containers, but can also go around a border in your shaded landscape. They can tolerate bright indirect light indoors near a window that gets partial sun.
