Henna Plant

Lawsonia inermis

    This cool plant is used to make the famous Henna Dye! The leaves are used along with an acid to form the paste and have home-made henna. The beautiful white flower clusters of the plant are fragrant and attract some butterfly varieties as well as bees. Highly drought tolerant once established, they prefer full sun exposure and are easy to grow.
