A Florida Native evergreen that flowers during the spring. Their white, bell shaped, slightly fragrant flower clusters attract bees, butterflies and their fruits are enjoyed by birds. Another eye-catching feature about this shrub is their naturally occurring rusty color that is mostly found on the bottom side of the leaves, trunk and stem and on new growth.
