Azure Blue Salvia

Salvia azurea or Blue sage is an easy-to-grow and beautiful plant for medium to somewhat dry soils. This salvia looks wonderful in containers, butterfly gardens or in meadows as the clear blue blooms are a standout even from a distance. It is the larval host plant for the Hermit Sphinx Moth and attracts a variety of pollinators as a nectar source. It prefers full sun and well-draining soil.
