Fragrant trees. Ylang Ylang, Michelia Alba, Chinese Perfume Tree (6–10 ft) and Frangipani, plus the August Beauty, Radicans and Veitchii gardenia trees, which suit containers and entryways.
Fragrant Florida natives. Sweetbay Magnolia has a lemony scent, and Wild Cinnamon Bark has spicy leaves. Fiddlewood, Spanish Stopper, Jamaica Caper and Fetterbrush also bloom with fragrant flowers. Butterfly bushes and Sweet Almond Bush add scent and draw butterflies; see Butterfly Plants.
