Podocarpus is an excellent hedge, often used for privacy, that can be kept more narrow than other hedges and is easy to maintain since it is slower growing. You can also shape it to use as a specimen plant. The Icee Blue® Podocarpus grows dense, with distinctive blue foliage. New growth has a lime/gray/blue color and matures to a cool gray/blue/green color. It be kept very neat and lends a well-groomed look to the garden.
