    Galangal is a tropical perennial herb sometimes known as, Thai Ginger or Greater Galangal. It is a root that is commonly used in cooking, that is paler in color and more fibrous than ginger. It has a cooling, refreshing aroma that is typically used as an infusion in dishes.
